Hotel Booking Notes:

Base category rooms will be booked in the Hotels. In case of the non-availability of the base category room, We will provide some different hotel options with similar prices. If you want the same hotel, we can book upper-category rooms but the extra cost will be borne by you. Most of the time hotels mentioned in this quote will be provided. In some cases, if the mentioned hotels are not available due to some reason, similar hotels will be provided.

Services provided by hotels:

We have noted that the Travellers desire to have excellent services like other destinations But Kindly note that this is a 3 Star-serviced area. The benefits of this area cannot be compared with that of a developed destination, which offers Luxury & 5* services. The services provided by the Budget Hotels of this area are much lower in comparison to hotels of developed destinations. Understanding that the travellers are our valued guests, we provide Hotels that are tried, tested & comfortable.

Nathula Pass :

an optional tour, which can be availed on the day, the guests are visiting Tsomgo Lake and Baba Mandir by paying a supplement cost for the Nathula Pass. Nathula Pass permits are applied 24 hrs prior to the travel date and the permit is issued on the day of travel Only 5% of the vehicles get the Permit. If the permit is issued, there will be no refund, for not visiting Nathula Pass, whatsoever may be the reason.

Hotel Important Points:-

  1. Most of the time hotels mentioned in this quote will be provided. In some cases, if the mentioned hotels are not available due to some reason, similar hotels will be provided.

  2. On 24th Dec and 31st Dec, Gala Dinner may be compulsory in some hotels. The price ranges from Rs. 1500 per person to Rs. 5000 per person or sometimes even higher. You will pay directly to the hotel.

  3. Standard Check-in time is 12 pm or similar and Check-out time is 10 am (These also vary as per hotel). Early check-in and/or late check-out will be according to availability and may be chargeable. The price of the same will be paid directly to the hotel by you.

  4. The itinerary provided in this quote is indicative. It may change before or during the trip if required. No refund will be given in case of a missed itinerary.

Child Booking Policy:

Children ages 5-12 will be charged per child without an extra bed. If you want an extra bed for a child, you can pay directly at the hotel and avail.

Extra Bed in Hotels: The hotels of the area provide Mattress & Roll Over / Fixed day-bed / Dewan as a supplement to Extra Bed for Adults / Children sharing the room, irrespective of being mentioned as, Adult with Extra Bed / Child with Extra Bed. Extra Services in Hotels:

Hotels have their own policies for Room Heater, WIFI, Swimming pool, Spa, etc and these can be availed at an extra cost. We only confirm rooms with a given meal plan. Room Heater in Hotels:

Certain Hotels in Low Budget, Standard, and Deluxe Hotels have a system of providing room heaters on request, on an extra payment basis. We usually do not include the cost & the traveller will have to settle it directly with the hotels before check-out. The charge varies from INR 250.00 to INR 500.00 per heater per room per night. About Hotels of Lachen and Lachung:

Lachen and Lachung have basic facility hotels due to the remoteness of these Places. Basic cuisines will be served at Hotels and Do not expect food options like Gangtok and Darjeeling. Notes on Transportation & Drivers in Sikkim and Darjeeling: Operational Status of High Altitude areas:

Tsomgo Lake, Baba Mandir, Nathula Pass, Gurudongmar, Yumthang & Yumesamdong (Zero Point) are quite dependent on weather conditions. Being hilly and mountain areas these roads could be out of operation at the time of travel. During the pre-arrival briefing call, we will update you on the operational status then. Nathula permit formalities:

Vehicle Allocation: In Sikkim and Darjeeling, Vehicles are allotted as per the sector So a Single vehicle can not be used for a complete Trip. We assure you of good vehicles and drivers for each sector. Vehicle Policy:

All the vehicles assigned to you will be on a point-to-point basis and not disposable. Special note on travelling with infants to North Sikkim:

We have noted that the guest is travelling with an infant to North Sikkim. Kindly be informed, the altitude of North Sikkim is high and it is cold throughout the year. The medical facilities are also inferior. It is not a good idea & we do not recommend, travelling in such areas with an infant. On your request only, we have included Lachung in the itinerary. Kindly be well prepared with proper winter clothing. About Toy Train Ride:

It is a 2 hrs Train Journey, Starting from Darjeeling up to Ghoom Station and Back to Darjeeling. It covers Batasia Loop, War Memorial & Ghoom Railway Museum. The cost of tickets and pick-up drop will be borne by the Traveller. Right, to Change the Itinerary:

Based on the operational conditions, at the time of actual travelling, the itinerary could be altered or changed. The itinerary provided in this quote is indicative. It may change before or during the trip if required. No refund will be given in case of a missed itinerary.
 

Cancellation Rules:

Land Package:

If the Trip is cancelled more than 30 days before the starting date, 25% of the total land package cost will be cancellation fees. If a Trip is cancelled between 16-30 days before the starting date, 40% of the total land package cost will be cancellation fees. If a Trip is cancelled between 7-15 days before the starting date, 55% of the total land package cost will be cancellation fees. If a Trip is cancelled between 3-6 days before the starting date, 70% of the total land package cost will be cancellation fees. If Trip is cancelled within 0-2 days before the starting date, 85% of the total land package cost will be cancellation fees. In the case of No Show, 100% of the total land package cost will be cancellation fees. Flights / Train Tickets For flights and/or trains, cancellation charges vary as per airlines/Railways/booking source. Cancellation charges will be according to that.

Note: No of days for cancellation will be counted by first contact and check-in time and date. The first contact will be considered when you first Email / WhatsApp our salesperson cancellation request.
